INDIVIDUALIZED EVALUATION
Gain a clear picture of your child's strengths and opportunities for development by scheduling an individualized evaluation. I combine standardized assessment measures with informal observation to get a comprehensive understanding of your child's speech and/or language and make personalized recommendations.
ARTICULATION THERAPY
Is your child having difficulty producing certain sounds that his or her peers seem to have mastered? Some speech sound errors are normal for young children, but if they persist beyond preschool or make it difficult for your child to be understood by others, and/or lead to frustration surrounding communication, articulation therapy may be appropriate.
LANGUAGE THERAPY
There are so many developmental milestones to look forward to, but it can be worrisome when children fall behind. In language therapy, I use engaging, play-based techniques to target receptive and expressive skills to help your child get back on track and share effective strategies to incorporate into your daily routines.
ONLINE SPEECH THERAPY
Speech therapy via telehealth is not only safe and convenient - it's effective! Articulation, receptive and expressive language and pragmatic (social) language goals for children 2+ may all be targeted using this method.
CONSULTATION
To help children carryover skills learned within speech and language therapy, I like to share my areas of expertise with other professionals within early childhood development and education. This can be done through direct consultation with other educators or presentations made on parent information nights/professional development days.
